Godfrey Mudariki is a Global health specialist with interest in implementation science, fundraising and development, Policy Analysis and institutional &Organizational capacity strengthening of Civil society organizations working in health, SRHR, HIV and development in general. He is the current National Director with Zimbabwe Aids Network and holds undergraduate and graduate qualification in Health Education and Promotion and Global Health Policy and Management from the University of Zimbabwe and Brandeis University (USA) respectively. He is currently working towards attainment of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Herriot Watt University (Scotland). He has previous served with a number of local, regional and international organizations at national and regional and global level including Zimbabwe Association of Church Hospitals, Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council, Concern Worldwide Zimbabwe, Organisation for Public Health Intervention and Development, Partners in Health- PACT project (USA), management Science for Health (USA), Global Health Corps fellowship (USA), Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Population Services International (PSI) and John Snow Inc. (JSI). He has also served in consultancy roles with Mann Global Health (MGH), UNFPA ESARO, and Compre Health Services amongst other consultancies ventures.
Lilian Pasara is the Finance Manager with Zimbabwe Aids Network (ZAN). She has over 11 years’ experience of financial management. She is performance driven with extensive experience gained through working for several organizations and through this she has managed to enhance her skillset. Organizations worked for include Professional Institutes, Regulator of Accountants and Auditors in Zimbabwe, organizations that supports peace-building, good local governance, children’s rights, and gender equity and poverty reduction in Zimbabwe among others. She is a corporate governance professional who qualified with the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa, holds a degree in Accountancy, an Associate member of Chartered Governance Institute of Zimbabwe and is a Registered Public Accountant.
Lovemore Mupfukura is a transformational leader who brings in over a decade of experience in Public health programs. He has a strong background in Health promotion and Health systems strengthening and over the course of his career has served in various capacities from program implementation to management with different local, regional and international non-Governmental Organizations. Prior to joining ZAN, Lovemore has served with the Provincial Health Promotion Unit(Manicaland Province), Family AIDS Caring Trust (FACT- Mutare), Organization for Public Health Interventions and Development (OPHID, Harare), Zimbabwe AIDS Prevention Project of the University of Zimbabwe (ZAPP-UZ, Chitungwiza), Global Health Corps (GHC, USA), Covenant House New Jersey (CHNJ, USA), Carrefour Consultancy, Zimbabwe and Economic Justice for Women Project (EJWP, Harare). During all these engagements he has acquired and perfected the necessary skills to manage donor funded projects with most of the donors being international donors such as Save the Children Norway, USAID, PEPFAR, DFID, EGPAF and UNICEF. He brings in expertise in Fundraising and Development, HIV/AIDS and Public Policy, Management of Healthcare Organizations, Monitoring and Evaluation and Theory and practice of implementing policy in health and social systems. Lovemore holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Education from the College of Health Sciences, University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from the Heller school, Brandeis University, USA and a number of professional certificates.
Ellina Chabwinja a GRADCIS currently pursuing a Forensic Accounting qualification with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She is a professional with more than twenty years working experience in the Finance and administration sector, eleven gained in the NGO sector and nine gained in the manufacturing industry. She has successfully managed a number of grants including USAID, Global Fund, EU, UKAID, IFES, HIVOS, OSISA, & Mercy Corps grants.Ellina is result oriented and has solid planning, organizational and project management skills, with exceptional verbal, written communication.
Fungai Musona is a Youth Coordinator, SRHR Advocate, IT Systems & Media Consultant, Communications Specialist and a passionate photographer. He has more than 7 years of experience working in the Communications Sector and he is currently the Communications Officer for Zimbabwe AIDS Network. He drives and coordinates the daily communications of the organization and also provides national support and lead in executing multimedia campaigns and coordination in response to legislative health issues that are of interest to the organization’s advocacy work. Elected twice from 2017 to 2020, he has been the National Youth in Media Sector representative in the Young People’s Network on Sexual Reproductive Health HIV & AIDS, a youth network convened by the National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe. Currently he saves as an Advisor to the National Team. Fungai is a holder of a Bachelor of Science Honors in Media and Society Studies, a Diploma in Information Technology and several media certificates including photography and graphic designing. He is a certified CSE Trainer of Trainer under the Ministry of Health and Child Care of Zimbabwe. He is a proud recipient of several media for health awards including the UNFPA SRHR video Contest and the Youth Delegates Video contest for the International Family Planning Conference 2018. He chose this work to empower people (especially the young) to live healthy enterprising lifestyles in respect to the SDGs accord.
Mellania Gononzvega is the Research and Officer for the Zimbabwe Aids Network. She coordinates and supports research and advocacy activities working with various stakeholders at both the community and national level. Mellania has worked with the Parliament of Zimbabwe as an intern facilitating national budgetary processes and providing technical assistance to the Members of Parliament on macro and micro economic policies. She has also worked with Community Based Organizations implementing Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights programs, advocating for the elimination of Gender Based violence as well as raising awareness on SRHR laws and policies. Whilst at these organizations, she also had the opportunity to participate and lead community mobilization activities for programs implementation. Prior to joining the Zimbabwe Aids Network, Mellania has been volunteering with the Girls’ Legacy as a Coach where she took part in leadership development and mentoring of young girls to build their capacity so that they can lives and become role models of their respective communities. She is currently pursuing a Master of International Relations with the Midlands State University and also a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Public Management with the same institution. Besides her professional and educational accomplishments, Mellania also enjoys exercising for fitness purposes.
Ayleen is the regional coordinator for Zimbabwe AIDS Network (ZAN). She is in charge of coordinating and facilitating Mashonaland regional network activities including workshops, seminars, trainings and chapter meetings with ZAN members. Her skills include report and proposal writing, data collection, entry and analysis for both qualitative and quantitative data. She has expertise in HIV diagnosis and management and has keen interest in key populations and adolescent health. She holds an Honors degree in Statistics, a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and a Good Clinical Practice certificate. She is currently pursuing a Special Honors degree in Monitoring and Evaluation.
Steven Muketiwa is a holder of a Bachelor of Social Science honours Degree in development studies from Lupane State University. I also hold a Professional Diploma in Development Studies. I have skills and qualifications to support monitoring and evaluation across a variety projects. Over the years, I have been actively involved in various assignments mainly in public health (HIV & AIDS management), resilience, food aid and livelihoods. My expertise in project planning and management is amplified by a strong technical background and proficiency in data collection and community mobilization skills. I am a hardworking and resourceful man who has explored and excelled in various areas such as health programming, child protection, education, humanitarian aid, community development projects and related fields.
Mduduzi is the Regional Coordinator for Bulawayo. Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South and Midlands provinces. He is a holder of BSc (Hons) Degree in Development Studies (Lupane State University). With vast experience in community development work with community based organizations, his current research is in youth economic empowerment especially for Adolescent Girls and Young Women.
Moses Chitumba is ZAN’s Strategic Information, Evaluation and Learning Officer and is an expert in Results Based Management programming, project monitoring, evaluation and learning as well as implementation management support. He has experience in leading M&E strategy development, designing results based monitoring and evaluation systems. Moses has experience in data analysis including quantitative and qualitative, data entry, data quality check /verification skills, trend analysis and data cleaning. Moses has worked for Association for the Development of Education in Africa as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant, as a Researcher at Public Health Consultants, Probe Market Research, Qumulative Research Institute. He was once a relief teacher within the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, as well as a Volunteer Peer Educator with Restless Development. Moses has a Masters in Population Studies and Demography (UZ), BSc Honors in Political Science (UZ), Executive Certificate in Project and Programme Monitoring and Evaluation (UZ) and Executive Certificate in Project Management (UZ). Moses’ aspirations are to make a lasting impact in health developmental work as well growing an area of expertise in Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation.
Arthur Mupfumira is ZAN’s ICT Officer and holds a degree in Master of Technology in Computer Science Engineering from Alahk Prakash Goyal Shimla University in India and an Honors degree in Business Management and Information and Technology from the Catholic University of Zimbabwe. In his master’s degree he majored in the field of Machine Learning and Quantum Computing. He is a Quantum Computing and Data Science enthusiast who likes manipulating data to make the most of it. He brings to ZAN a diversity of knowledge having knowledge and competences across the sectors of data analysis, software engineering and machine learning. He looks forward to revolutionizing the ICT systems in the humanitarian sector.
Mr. Wonder Mapa is the longest serving member of the ZAN team with over 10 years experience working with the organisation. He currently serves as ZAN Janitor/ Care taker offering cleaning services and general administration support within the administration department.
